PROPERTIES: MIXOL universal dye has 36 concentrated colors, based on special combinations of pigments of the highest quality and resistance, formulated in pigmentary liquid format of high concentration and extensive compatibility of use. Within the MIXOL range, the most outstanding pigments are pure inorganic natural oxide pigments, which are pigment pastes of mineral oxides, iron, cobalt, etc. The "LW OXYD TYPE" oxides, due to their purely mineral composition, are the most resistant technologically possible to UV radiation and alkalinity, and are recommended for exterior use, alkaline products such as mortars and silicate paints and glazes, as well as special products in general. We also have colors derived from organic compounds, which are the "L TYPE" whose recommendation is limited for indoor use, although on the contrary they have a great pigmentation power and a special vividness. The combination of both types of pigments, oxides and organic pigments, has allowed us to develop a range of colors, the "LW TYPE" that combine the excellence of both, offering a range with good outdoor resistance, and with a high brightness and pigmentary power. Finally, 3 metallic effect colors (Gold, Silver, Copper) are also available. Mixol is a product that can be stored for long periods and is resistant to frost and high temperatures, without deterioration of the product.
MAIN USE: MIXOL is used to give color, customize color, retouch, etc., to almost all types of water or solvent based paints, 1 and 2 component paints, lasures, glazes, varnishes, lacquers, coatings, stuccos, mortars, putties, microcements, Ardex® or similar pavements, etc. Given its extraordinary versatility, it is used both in the industrial field and in the manufacture of paints and coatings, as well as in painting and lacquering workshops, specialized stores, facades, theming, decoration, art field, DIY, do it yourself, etc. Clean the tools immediately after use with water. For further details see technical data sheet and/or application guides, and safety data sheet.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: First of all, check with a small sample the compatibility of Mixol with the product to be pigmented. First shake Mixol vigorously before use, pour Mixol on the product to be tinted in the chosen proportion, and finally mix well in the product to be colored with an electric agitator, to ensure a good dispersion and homogenization of the pigment on the product.
AVERAGE CONSUMPTION: The consumption of MIXOL is variable according to the desired intensity and type of pigmented product. Consult the color chart available on our website.
IN MORTARS AND MICROMORTARS: Mixol is specially indicated to pigment in mass mortars and microcements, below you will find a guide to be able to interpret the Mixol color chart as an orientation for mortars and micro-mortars:
10% line : approx. 30 grams per kg of mortar.
4% line : approx. 12.5 grams per Kg of mortar.
Line of 2%: approx. 9 grams per Kg of mortar.
1% line: approx. 6.5 grams per Kg of mortar.
0.2% line: approx. 3 grams per Kg of mortar.
