DESCRIPTION AND MAIN USE: Selection of thin glass expanded with particle sizes between 0.04 and 0.3 mm. Very light and resistant to pressure, highly heat insulation, excellent properties of sound absorption, does not absorb water, creamy white, purely mineral, alkali resistant and compatible with plasters, cements and epoxy resins, non-flammable, ecological, made by recycled glass. Their amorphous structure prevents from silicosis damage, and is highly stable. Suitable to add in resins and mortars, in epoxyes paints as FK-45 to increase its volume, strength and hardness, and to make plasters or repair putties and epoxy filler, mainly for mineral bases in cement and concrete.
APPLICATION WITH FK-45: Protect all surfaces that should not be applied. The support should be consistent, clean, free of hygroscopic salts, microorganisms, dust, shabby paints or any other substance that may affect adherence, and if necessary must be primed. Once the correct mixture of components A and B of FK-45 is done, add GlassMix and stir slowly until getting a viscosity mass. After drying it could be painted over.
AVERAGE CONSUMPTION: It is required as maximal 1 kg GlassMix for each kg of FK-45 to get thick putty.
