Multipurpose modified micro-cement micro-mortar, applied together with elite additives on suitable mineral bases, has excellent adhesion, waterproofing and resistance. For priming, waterproofing, sealing, decorative coating and/or surface protection.
DESCRIPTION AND MAIN USES: Powder, modified, multifunction micro-cement micro-mortar, which when applied to absorbent mineral bases in combination with elite additives provides excellent adherence, impermeability and resistance. Suitable for priming, waterproofing, sealing, cladding and/or the protection of supports, mainly mineral, with a cement, mortar, concrete, terrazzo, brick, breeze block or cellular concrete base, exterior or exterior, as well as for immersion in water.
USE WITH ELITE ADDITIVE:
• FK-6 Plus: water-based epoxy additive, for application along with MicroMortero Élite and mesh, a blocking, adherent and textured cementitious epoxy primer.
• FK-19 Plus: Pure acrylates/polyurethane additive that provides impermeability, plasticity and resistance, used whenever micro-mortar is used as a decorative cladding.
HOW TO APPLY AND AVERAGE YIELD-CONSUMPTION: Carefully protect all surfaces that are not to be treated from splashing. The surface must be consistent, clean, free of hygroscopic salts, micro-organisms, dust, mould-release agents, paints or any other substance that might affect adherence. Application at a temperature of 5ºC or above.
AS AN EPOXY-CEMENT PRIMER WITH FK-6 PLUS: Apply two coats of primer, using brushes or rollers. After the first coat has been applied lay over it a fibreglass mesh that is resistant to attack and to the action of alkilies. The mesh size should be no greater than 5 x 5 mm, with resistance to strain and elongation.
1. For the 1st coat: The mixing ratio must be 1 litre of the FK-6 mix (A+B) + 1 kg of MicroMortero Élite. As the first coat is being applied lay the mesh over it, pressing down with a steel washer-roller, or the same roller used to apply the primer.
2. For the 2nd coat: Second coat to be applied once the first coat has dried, mixed at a ratio of 1 litre of the FK-6 (A+B) + 2 kg of MicroMortero Élite.
TOTAL AVERAGE CONSUMPTION: 600 ml of FK-6 Plus + 900 gr. MicroMortero Élite/m²
TOTAL AVERAGE YIELD: 1.5-1.7 m²/litre de FK-6 Plus y 1.1 kg/m² of MicroMortero Élite
