MULTILITIO

DESCRIPTION AND RECOMMENDED USES: Multilitio is a concentrated, multifunction, lithium silicate, water-based dispersion, modified with colloidal nano-silica, exclusively for use on mineral surface and mortars. Does not alter transpiration or diffusion of vapour and is compatible with humidity/damp. Easy to apply and handle and has a considerable binding effect due to the chemical process of silicification, by means of which it establishes insoluble chemical bridges with the mineral products that bond Multilitio to the mineral surface. Its versatility ensures that Multilitio can function both as a mineral binder and, when it has been pigmented using Mixol Oxide, as a mineral glaze. Multilitio is used as a primer, for binding , and decoratively, for the restoration of façades and heritage work, for new buildings, civil engineering in general, construction, professional thematic work, embossed paving, the food industry, the health sector, industry in general, etc., on vertical or horizontal surfaces and even for immersion in saltwater.

HOW TO APPLY AND AVERAGE YIELD-CONSUMPTION ACCORDING TO FUNCTION:

Carefully protect all surfaces that are not to be treated from splashing, particularly glass, metal and lacquer-finished surfaces... The surface to be covered must be consistent, clean, free of hygroscopic salts, microorganisms, dust, release agents, synthetic paints or any other substance that might affect its adherence. Can be applied at ambient and surface temperatures of 5ºC or over

• Colourless mineral primer - binder:  Multilitio aporta poder consolidante por silicificación a bases minerales absorbentes. Aplicar Multilitio Habitualmente se aplica una única mano abundante en su estado concentrado, sin dejar sobrantes en superficie, con brocha, rodillo, pulverizador. En ocasiones también se puede aplicar una primera mano en disolución 1:1 parte en agua y otra segunda (8-12 horas) en su estado concentrado, siempre sin dejar sobrantes en superficie, por lo que su grado de disolución y número de manos, vendrá determinado por varios factores: porosidad, valor de absorción de la base, estado de degradación, patologías, etc. Multilitio funciona como consolidante mineralizador pulimentable para suelos de hormigón pulido (consulte a nuestro departamento técnico).

• Binding mineral glaze: Multilitio, can be pigmented using Mixol Oxides to create an excellent translucent binding glaze for all types of absorbent mineral surfaces, whether vertical, horizontal or for immersion, in which the pigments are encapsulated in insoluble silicon crystals. In this use Multilitio presents a variable yield of approx. 3 to 5 m²/l, depending on the type of surface. For optimum durability the system can be improved by the subsequent application of FK-7 or FK-3 Plus Nano or FK-4 Extreme water-repellent protector.

AVERAGE YIELD: Multilitio, as a colorless consolidant, has for this use an approximate variable yield of between 3 and 10 m²/l, depending on the dilution used, the type of base, its texture and its absorption value. As a mineral glaze, it has an approximate yield of 3-5m²/l. of concentrate in 2 coats.
