Monochromatic photocatalytic silicate mineral glaze, penetrates absorbent mineral bases with hardly any coating. As a durable finish in natural colors. In restoration of facades, prefabricated concrete, industry, civil works, stamped pavements, theming, zoos, high decoration.
PROPERTIES: Photocatalytic mineral lasur/velour based on a complex potassium silicate micro-emulsion in aqueous dispersion, for use on interior and exterior mineral bases. The organic matter content is less than 5% by weight of the total formulation and complies with German standard DIN 18363. Specially designed for exclusive use on mineral substrates since Multilite Monocrom becomes part of the substrate, thanks to its petrification process by silicification with chemical anchoring, forming a single body, insoluble in water, but highly breathable SD<0.02. It is pigmentable with Mixol Oxides and/or can be supplied in other oxide colors upon request. Multilite Monochrom, unlike its parent product Multilite, unifies the various oxide pigments used in its pigmentation, fusing them mostly in a single color, and offering a homogeneous tone. When you want to make color glazes to your liking, Multilite Monocrom has a color chart and can also be pigmented up to a maximum of 3%-5% with Mixol oxide pigments. As it does not create a surface layer, thanks to its penetration, it does not alter the texture of the treated mineral base, making it an extremely natural, effective and long-lasting treatment.
PHOTOACTIVE TECHNOLOGY: SILICALITH FotoActive contains nano particles of photocatalytic titanium dioxide, which, thanks to the action of sunlight, contribute to destroy pollutants such as odors, grease, VOC, microorganisms, NOx, etc., that may come into contact with its surface, transforming them into CO2 and water. This process improves the quality of the ambient air, with a beneficial environmental impact due to its decontaminating action, while exerting a self-cleaning effect on the surface.
MAIN USE: Multilite Monocrom is used as a penetrating mineral glaze and in color, for absorbent mineral bases, concretes, mortars, micro-mortars, micro-cements, in pavements, facades, heritage, professional thematizations, etc.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Protect well all surfaces that should not be treated or splashed, especially all glass surfaces, metal, lacquered surfaces, wood, etc.. Apply Multilite Monocrom by brush, roller or airless. Do not dilute with water or solvents. In bases of low absorption, apply what the base is able to absorb and remove excess material. It is recommended to apply a minimum of 2 coats, with an interval of 12 hours of drying between them. Clean the tools immediately after use with solvent. For optimum durability, the system can be improved with the subsequent application of FK-7 or FK-3 Plus Nano water repellent protector. For further details see technical data sheet and/or application guides, and safety data sheet. For further details see technical data sheet and/or application guides and safety data sheet.
Note: Apply 2 coats of paint with brush, roller or airless. At 20ºC and 60% relative humidity, each coat will be dry and can be recoated after approx. 12-24 hours. Applicable between 10 and 35ºC, both for the surface to be painted and the ambient temperature. The ambient temperature and humidity will determine the drying time, which can be extended up to several days in cases of high humidity and low temperature.
AVERAGE YIELD: Multilite Monochrom has an average yield of approx. 4-6 m²/l, with an average consumption between 150 and 250 ml/m². Depending on the application method, texture and absorption of the base coat it can vary considerably.
Cans of 1, 5 and 10 l.
