FK-19 TopCoat

DESCRIPTION AND MAIN USES: FK-19 TOPCOAT is a colorless, waterborne, satin finish, modified acrylate protectant concentrate for the renewable protection of concrete and printed concrete floors. FK-19 TOPCOAT significantly improves weathering and soiling resistance, water repellency, abrasion and impact resistance, and generally improves the experience of regular use of concrete and printed concrete surfaces mainly in pavements. FK-19 TOPCOAT allows good vapor diffusion which reduces the risk of whitening. It has good wetting, adhesion and U.V. resistance, resists temperature changes well and enhances the natural look of concrete with a satin appearance. It is easy to apply, depending on the dilution used, penetrates well into the pores of the base and generates a renewable micro-protection, increasing its resistance to wear and soiling and improving its impermeability. It reduces the deterioration of concrete floors and is easily renewable. It is recommended as a protective treatment of periodic maintenance in concrete and printed concrete pavements as well as a liquid promoter of its correct curing.

WAY OF APPLICATION: Protect well all surfaces that should not be applied, splashed. The support must be consistent, clean, free of dust, release agents, paints or any other substance that may affect its adhesion. Applicable from 5ºC. It can be applied from 1:1 to 1:5 dilution in water. The degree of dissolution and number of coats will be determined by several factors: porosity, absorption of the base, state of degradation, pathologies, desired finish, etc... As a general rule in printed concrete floors we recommend to apply at least 2 coats in 1:3 or 1:4 dilution in water. To spray or to spill the solution on the surface of the concrete, and to distribute it homogeneously with roller, in two continuous applications. Applied from 1:5 in water on fresh concrete pavers and screed mortars, it will reduce water evaporation and improve curing especially in summer, after application clean tools immediately with soap and water. PERFORMANCE-CONSUMPTION: FK-19 TOPCOAT has an average performance of approx. 8-15 m²/l. in concentrate, in 2 coats. Depending on the application method, texture and absorption of the base coat, the performance-consumption may vary considerably.
